Using MSI KT7 Turbo - R on board RAID controller as an IDE controller

Is it possible to use the on board RAID controller on the MSI KT7 Turbo-R as an IDE controller?

If so, does anyone know how to do it?

Sure it is. Just plug in the drive and off you go. I have a K7t266 pro and I use one Raid port as raid the other as a IDE controller for a single drive.

And after you boot up, install Promise ATA-100 driver from your m/b cd.
