If I take my mom's DC down to college this week I'll take a pic of my desk. There's not so much to look at here at home. ;)

well the mac is the one that i accquried first, mainly because i wanted an apple. The middle silver one is a 1.7 p4, 512 mb of ram, that somehow i got for about 160 bux + an old monitor i had layin around. The think pad isn't really mine, it's my moms, but i probably use it more than her.

So here are ur reasons

MAC - light, portable, and it's a mac
The middle silver one - my desktop pc, it never moves so i use it when i'm home.
the thinkpad - much easier to carrie around than this gigantic 9 lb monster in the middle of my desk, but not as fast.

i figured someone would ask that

Hey nice furnature for your laptop, i have two of those for my dorm back in Wilmington.

Question for minendo: What would be the best linux flavor to run on a laptop?

Redhat is probably the easiest to get installed, you could also just use a Knoppix bootable cd.
