Using Megatoners ink = My printer doesn't print

I bought some new generic ink from Megatoners for my Epson Stylus 880. My black in ran out so I replaced it with a new black cartridge. I was using some other kind of generic before and it worked fine. This new one is CTC brand in a white/red box.

After I peeled off the yellow label and installed it, absolutely no black in comes out when I print. I cleaned the head several times, but with no luck. After about 10 cleanings, my color ink ran out so I replaced it too with a CTC cartridge. Now nothing prints out.

Is the head clogged or is the ink bad? Does anyone have a similar experience?

Cheap is as cheap does - try swiftink.com next time. There are all sorts of cleaning methods out there for Epsons because clogging is their favorite pastime... If you really want to continue to use the thing, order a cleaning kit direct from Epson and get some of the cleaning tanks that some of the 3rd-party ink sellers carry.
. To fully solve your problem, get a Canon Pixma series printer (the iP3000 if you're on a budget, the iP4000 is the sweet spot and the iP5000 is awesome). They are blowing them out to make room for the coming new models, plus there is a $20. Canon rebate - I think thru the end of this month. Canons almost never clog due to their thermal nozzles (as opposed to Epson's combination of cold, piezo nozzles and super fast drying inks - you almost need two people to change tanks fast enough to prevent drying and clogs).
