Using Lotus commands in Excel 2003

Does anyone know if this can be done? My boss uses shortcuts from Lotus 123 in Excel to call up new spreadsheets and things like that. He was able to do that in Office 2000, but he just got a new laptop with Office 2003 and can't find where to do these kind of things. Can anyone help me out? I am not familiar with 123 commands.
