Is it possible to use a laptop's screen as a monitor for a desktop? I have a Compaq 900Z and there's a VGA out, but there's no VGA in. Are most laptops designed NOT to have VGA in?
I have yet to see a laptop that has a vga input to use the laptop monitor as an external screen for a desktop computer, it seems like a good idea though. There are a few programs like winvnc (freeware) and a couple of others that you could connect with a laptop to your desktop and control the keyboard and mouse.
