Can a laptop be used as a DVD palyer for a separate tv?
We have a tv in our motorhome with RCA connections on the front. Is there a way to hook a laptop up to the tv to play and hear dvds?
What type of connectors does the laptop need?
TIA

I do this with my dell inspiron laptop all the time when i go to visit my parents. But does your laptop have a TV out? Most of the tv out i saw, is a S-video connector, tho. some maybe RCA connector. If your tv set got RCA, then u need to just get a regular video cable (RCA>RCA) or get a special Svideo>RCA all depends to what output u got on your laptop. But another point u need to consider, u also need a audio cable to output your sound to audio-in to your tv too! U don;t want to watch the dvd on TV and listen the audio from that tiny craptop :D

Good luck!
