Using LAN and WiFi connection simultaneously

Hi folks,

I'm using a laptop at work and there are two connection profiles which I connect to. The LAN profile connects to the corp network while the WiFi profile connects to a router which provides external net access.

To use one profile, I'll have to disable the other. Was wondering if anyone has stumbled across any apps which allows me to use both profiles at the same time and then telling the apps to use a particular profile.

you cannot do this on an application level, but you can do it at the routing layer (layer 3) by setting up complex routing rules.
