Using Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1 for Xbox 360

Well, I'm apparently getting an Xbox 360 (the one with the HDD) for Christmas. I already have a great PC gaming system, but of the three I would probably prefer that 360 anyways. As the title suggests, I have very good speakers already, and a 21" widescreen Samsung 215TW LCD screen. I do not yet have an HDTV (working on that, however), so I would prefer to hook it up to this monitor (since it has all the necessary connectors on the back of it) and use these speakers.

The dilemma I have, however, is how to hook the speakers up to it. I wasn't sure which section to post in, so I chose general hardware. I was first talking in the Klipsch forums, but nobody responded for the last 10 days. I was thinking of the Creative Labs DDTS-100, that Creative Decoder that is also sold on Amazon for $129. Am I right in thinking that this is what I would need? If someone could help me out in this respect, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Do the ProMedia's have optical in? Then you can just get an optical cable from the 360 to the ProMedia's. Easy as that. I have the Logitech Z-5450's and I have my 360 connected to it that way.

The Promedias do not have an optical input. The Creative DDTS-100 would probably work fine.
