I'm a new researcher in IDS. I have some question about kdd dataset that I couldn't find any answer to those. I'll be very thankful if anyone can help me. But my questions:
1. How can I inject kdd dataset's data to my real network. Should I change IP addresses programmatically and create a new dataset and replay it?
2. In some papers the authors mentioned that they eliminated some attacks from kdd dataset. I don't know how can I do this.
3. How can I select random number of records from this dataset?
