Using I.T. skills to move to a better job

There are a lot of posts about careers in I.T., and if you haven't thought about it before, some of you might be interested in considering using those technical skills as a springboard into working in project management. From my perspective there are many opportunities in this field for people who can do the job, and it pays very well. A good article in Computerworld describes a couple people who have moved from IT positions into a project management career. There are other articles on the site on that subject.
