"A post on GoogleBlog reveals that Google has enabled results prefetching for Mozilla based browsers, which means that the top results of queries are being loaded in the background and pages will load faster. More info on the Mozilla Prefetching FAQ and the Google Webmaster FAQ"

I can see employees being confronted for browsing pages they never actually looked at. An obvious example: innocently searching for info on the silly Vin Diesel movie "XXX" turns up a nice mix of Vin and pr0n in the top results. Presumably a mix of both are loading up in the background

A certain Google search could yield a naughty result, and automatically be loaded into cache, regardless if you clicked the link or not.

So don't go searching for beaver pellets.

And at my place of employment, we could get fired for looking up Vin Diesal BECAUSE IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WORK!

True, but (as an example) how many craptastic webmasters are smart enough to put things like Intel and Computer and other buzwords in their metadata descriptions so that google picks up those pages when you're searching for work-related material? I work for a company that handles IT equipment and my boss would *not* be happy if the network starts reporting abuse from my computer when I'm just doing my job :p

It's only a matter of time. I'm surprised shady webmasters haven't thought of that already.

Reminds me at school... Damn, 4 years ago.

When the movie XXX came out it was a big thing for some reason (I didn't see what the fuss was all about). People kept going www.xxx.com.
