Using Firefox bookmarks on network drive

Is it possible to set firefox to look to a network drive for the bookmarks, or must the entire profile folder be put on the network drive to make it work?

Yes, it's possible.

There is also a plugin that will store and retrieve your bookmarks from an ftp server. Not the most convenient thing in the world but if you have one up and available you could try it.

No ftp server, just a lan that I want to use firefox on each computer but with the same source bookmark file.
