I apologize if this is the wrong forum.
This is the situation: I have two computers with me, my desktop and my laptop, both running Windows XP.
This is what I want to do: I want to be able to work on files stored on either computer, using either computer - only certain files, i.e. schoolwork.
I have fiddled some with the windows briefcase thing; I'm not sure how to set it up, or if it can do what I want it to. I would like to be able to click 'update' when the computers are linked and have my 'school' folders from the two computers combined so that if I had done anything on the one computer, the other would be updated as well.
Is this feasible? Is briefcase the right tool? Any tips?
- Much thanks in advance
