Using eTrust Personal Firewall, Cpanel access SLOW.

Typically firewalls accept or deny, not slow down. If you can access the cpanel at all, it isnt being blocked by the firewall. Have you tried turning the firewall off and then accessing c-panel? Is it the same outcome?

Yep, and as soon as I turn the fw off all is good. I know, I was thinking the same. It don't make sense.
 
CA products are crap at best.

Check your taskmanager, and see if any CA process is hogging your cpu cycles.

Only the download is slow, the other computer functions are as normal.
