Using dual monitor on Sun/Sloris8 system

We just got a Sun Ultra 60 here at work. Its a dual monitor/head setup. We can use both monitors in an independent fashion... each monitor is its own desktop and only the cursor will pass from monitor to monitor. Does anyone know how to get it to strech the desktop to cover both monitors?
