using cups/samba as print server

I want to setup print queues for my printers in samba and just have them redirect to shared printers on workstations. How do I go about setting it up so the drivers don't have to be installed on each workstation? Like I want it to just auto configure when you connect, like it would in a windows environment.

I've been doing some research and know I have to create a print$ share and such but I don't know the details, like how to map the drivers with the printers, and such.

Also most of the stuff I found is retardely outdated so I don't even want to go by it unless its confirmed to be true by today's standards.
