Seems that way. I bought something last night and put the wrong year for the expiration date and it still went through no problem. Nice security.

I once goofed on the date. I meant to hit 6 on the keypad and hit 9 instead. I hit 'Accept' before noticing. The order went through without a problem. I think the fact that I had the name, phone number, address, CC number, and most of the date correct was enough that the CC company let it slide. Either that, or they don't pay attention.
