Hi!
I'm thinking of making an mp3 player from several computer parts: an old laptop, a new harddrive (can you connect a new standard ide drive to a laptop actually??? i'm not very certain about this...), a linux distribution, a small lcd panel (20 characters * 5 lines or something), an old cd-player chassis (for the aesthetic look of things), and some custom software (which writes to the lcs, reads the buttons on the chassis, and play playlists or single songs)
Do you guys think that this is doable?
Or has anyone of you had some experience with this?
Or any tips/suggestions?
Thanks,
Bye,
D.
