using coldfusion to display articles

I'm looking for the best way to setup a coldfusion template to display articles for like a hardware review site - specifically mine thecoldshop.com. I have my own ideas but there way to complicated to try and type out and for the most part probably wrong. I'm looking for some ideas or a shove in the right direction. on a few issues mainly how to cover multiple pages per article is there a way to breakup a single database field into multiple pages or does each page need to be in its own field. And the second major obstacle I'm finding is how can i display images dynamically with the page IE how do i upload them or put them into the database easily so i don't have to drop each one in, do i need some kind of naming convention or what.

thanks
