I'd like to use some Chinese software on my English install of XP. I've already got the Asian language set installed. The words in the program are all random non-sense characters, though. Anyone know how to use this without using a Chinese install of windows?

Thanks.

you gotta go to regional settings in the control panel, go to the last tab and there's a dropdown for the languag eyou wish to use for non-unicode programs, pick chinese(taiwan) or (prc) depending on if the program you are trying to run is in traditional chinese or simplified.

alternatively, you can download microsoft applocale and just use that instead.
