Using Bluetooth headset with stereo sound and mic

I have a bluetooth headset connected to my PC (Win 10) and my understanding is that you either have stereo sound and no mic (i.e. headphone profile) or mono sound with a mic (i.e. headset profile), because to low bandwidth issues with bluetooth v4.0 (source: https://www.howtogeek.com/354321/why-bluetooth-headsets-are-terrible-on-windows-pcs/), although with v5.0 it doesn't seem to have resolved this issue (source: ).

Just asking around to see if anyone has any solutions or workarounds to this very disappointing issue.

Joe, I never got anything bluetooth to work reliably. I can't help you, but will sure watch to see if BT geniuses can evoke a miracle. It must work for some folks or would have died out by now.

For me, blue tooth has been something not worth a second look. I expect any blue toot device to malfunction or never work at all . A waste of time and money.
