Using Asetek Cooler with a Water Block?

I was wondering... say you found a GPU in the FS that comes with a waterblock attached. Is it possible to adapt one of the Asetek AIO coolers (H60, etc) to use the waterblock, instead of using a custom loop?

I've seen it done with the Corsair H50 but I do not recommend doing it as its more trouble than its worth.

1. The tubing isn't similar in size and type to custom watercooling parts.
2. Adding in a GPU will require addition of another radiator which adds to the restriction of the loop.
3. Higher restriction needs a higher flow pump and the AIO pump is anemic and only sufficient for what it is intended to do.
4. You will need a reservoir to fill.

The mod that needs to be performed on the Corsair H60 WILL void your warranty as there is no way of reassembling it to the way it was.

Thanks... it sounds like it may as well be a custom loop at that point. I was thinking of just dedicating a single cooler to a GPU (just bought another H70 and ordered a Dwood bracket), but was wondering if it would be better coverage with a full block for the VRMs.

I wouldn't run a 7970 or 7950 without VRM cooling.

The Dwood brackets allows for a 92mm fan over the VRMs, and there are heatsink kits for extra cooling too.
