My computer is getting old for games but to delay getting a new one I can borrow someone else's (whose abroad for 6 months). I don't want to move to using the newer computer completely since I have to return it, but I only want to play some newer games occasionally.

Can I connect the new computer to my network and play games from it on my current computer? I don't want to have to reconnect the monitor/mouse/keyboard all the time, ideally I could just double click a shortcut on my old computer and it would load the program from the new computer. Is that even possible or am I dreaming? And if its possible would I really see the performance benefits of the newer computer or would it be lost in transmission?

Both computers have Win XP, I have a hub and the primary computer (older) has 2 network cards (in case that is necessary). Thanks for any help.

sorry hoss, no way to do it really. If it were for compiling software or doing anything that isn't graphics intensive (like a game), I'd say you have a shot. Sorry :-/
