Using Anti-Alias Fonts under RH 7.3

Not sure if this has anything to do with the theme I am running, though I should switch to the normal theme and try it again, but
everytime I try to turn on AA under KDE -> Look and Feel -> Fonts, KDE crashes. It freezes and the only way thing to do is to turn
off my PC and turn it back on.

I am running the Liquid theme compiled by Texstar. I should try to switch AA on running the normal theme and see if it works.
BTW...I am running KDE 3.0.2 under RH 7.3
