Using an XBOX 360 headset (wired) with a PC

The headset has one 3.5mm (I believe that's the right size) jack on it for output and input... I don't know a horrible lot about sound card abilities, but I don't think a card can handle both. I do have a wireless adapter but I've never tried using the controller on the PC with the headset hooked up.

I know that the wired controller and MIC/Headset work. Don't know why the wireless one wouldn't. I accidentally figured this out once. Was using the controller and windows had set the default sound out to the headsets earpiece.

Hope this helps.

I guess since I'd need to buy the PC add-on for the wireless controller I might as well just get a headset made for a PC. Thanks for the info.
