Using an X1550 for a few days... sluggish UI?

So I'm using an X1550 PCI until my newer card comes in for my PCI-E slot.

The onboard video seemed to run everything flawlessly as far as in Windows (dragging stuff around, refreshing the desktop, etc...) but this card, even with the newest drivers from ATI, seems to just cause everything to be sluggish.

Even when I full screen videos in Youtube, they become slow. The onboard did NOT do this.

Any clues?

Thanks!!

I can only imagine the PCI-bus is being saturated by the video, especially at higher resolutions. The onboard video uses AGP-bus (most likely) which wouldn't be saturated.

PCI or PCI-E doesn't matter much with 2D. It's obvious driver problems.
