Using an Antec Smartpower 2.0 500Watt PSU for SLI mode

I hopped in on the evga 7800GT+motherboard deal and picked up the above mentioned PSU. Will it be enough for running in SLI mode?

No Im not but I was thinking of going up to an X2 eventually.

I did search for a PSU calculator but couldn't find one with a 7800Gt on the list. Thanks!

It is showing 299Watts with a single 7800GT at 91watts so I should be at 400Watts with 2 of them. I could probably have stayed with my 350Watt PSU for the single card which looks like it draws 1Watt less power than my 6800Gt.

Figures. At least I only pad $56 (after tax) for the Antec Smartpower 500Watt psu.

Huh. That has even less amperage on the 12V lines than the SP-500 does. 17A on 12V1 and 16 on 12V2.
