Using a VGA monitor on a Sun?

How do I build a Sun -> VGA adapter? I've found a little info for doing the opposite (sun monitor on VGA), but I just picked up a sparcstation5 and it has the Sun-style connector instead of VGA.

Hmmm... ok. I saw this thread a while ago but figured someone else would respond. I guess I was feeling lazy. Anyhoo...

Try here. This is the easiest solution. If you have more money and want a better scalable solution then go to Extron or Inline. You should be able to pick up a scan converter for $1000-ish.

err, i was kinda hoping I could solder, or maybe buy a $1 IC and use some solder. maybe I'll just wait till I find a free sun monitor (probably within a week)
