Using a treadmill without any sneakers on...

OK, sounds like an insane question, I know.. Do I really have to put my stinky sneakers on when doing some walking (not running) on my treadmill?

sounds crazy but the idea of keeping your toes attached to your foot would seem to answer that question for you.

the treadmill would be a more forgiving surface than concrete definitely. however, you'll still do much more damage to your feet and legs than you would if you wore sneakers.

Unless your feet are super calloused over, then you are going to do a number on them. The belts, like Amused said, are quite unforgiving.

probably bad for your feet if you don't.

particularly your knees. I used to run track.

good footwear is important when running.

you also should have proper arch support.

I can't imagine what would happen if your feet started to sweat. That would be nasty and dangerous.
