It works fine throughout the boot up process, enters Windows, and then usually it's within about 5 minutes that it locks up.

It would be better to have more Amps on the +12V for that mobo, but that PSU should do OK. You do have both power connectors (ATX and P4) plugged in to the mobo, right? That is necessary for best performance.

PSU problems generally lead to random restarts, RAM or driver problems generally cause lockups. Test your RAM with the free testing programs available and make sure your drivers are the latest versions. It could also be the fact that PC Chips hasn't earned the sobriquet "PC Cheaps" for nothing... I'd never put one in my own system or in one to sell - I don't need the aggravation.

If your computer is loading windows fine, then it is probably not the PSU's fault. Loading is where the PS has the most strain put on it. If I were you I might check to see if the northbridge chipset fan is running fine. That is probably not the culprit, but something may be overheating....

Yeah... both ATX and P4 are connected. I'm wondering if the shared RAM between the video card and system is the problem. All the drivers it has pulled was from Windows XP online search.

On a side note, my first computer build was based off of a Duron 850 and PC Chips M805LR. To everyone's hating, the thing worked flawlessly. Guess maybe I should have just found an Abit board like what I have in my NF7-S system.
