Using a SMC2804WBR as a wireless access point.

Is it possible to use my older SMC2804WBR as a wireless access point. I am using my MN-700 as a wireless access point, but in the firmware it allowed me to set it that way. I want all wireless clients on the access point to get their IP address from the router itself, and not the access point (this case the SMC2804WBR). It is connect to an IPCop box, which I prefer over a hardware based router. My MN-700 has a few performance issues which is why I wanted to get rid of it. Thanks for your help!
