I have a Canon MP700 all-in-one that's hooked up to a computer on my network. I have no problem sharing the printing functionality over the network, but have no idea how to get the scanning functionality to work. Software I'm using is Canon MP Toolbox.

I ran across this page:
http://www.usa.canon.com/html/...oad/canonnetutils.html
Not sure if it's relevant to my Canon MultiPass device though.

Is it possible to set up scanning using WIA/TWAIN over the network?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Nope, Scanner is Not a Network Share unless it is a ready made Networked Scanner.

Most of AIO devices have a Network version and they are priced as low as $100 (look for Brother) Canon and HP have such devices too for about $200.

There use to be a vendor that sold stand alone box to make USB devices Network capable.

But it cost about the same as buying a ready made AIO unit.
