Using a peltier with an Athlon and Arctic Circle

I'm about to buy my buddy's .18 athlon 650, which is specced to output from 32 to 36 watts, and I intend to strap on a 72 watt peltier. This brings the total heat output to 104 to 108 watts. Nevin, from coolingstore.com, lists the maximum heat dissipation for my Arctic Circle at 100 watts. Does anyone here think that this is a conservative rating, and I will be fine, or do I have to break out the water block? I'd really like to use this system for LAN parties, which means that I don't want to tote around a bucket of ice water. Any suggestions? As an added bit of information, I'm going to run it with a northwind gfd on my Biostar M7MKA. The Arctic Circle also has the 30mm fanplate.

So, once you mount the peltier you intend to run the chip at the default 650MHz.

Then why use a peltier?

As soon as you ramp up the speed or voltage the CPU output will increase. Take it to 850MHz and it will be putting out around 50 watts.

72+50=122 122x1.2=146.4 (For a safety margin)

Watercooling time dude.

I was just wondering exactly *how* conservative your ratings were :) I already have the equipment for watercooling, I will just have to come up with another system to transport around :)
