Using a Netgear WG111 with a 360?

My roomate and I are a little puzzled - can we use his regular USB wireless network adapter with his 360? How I ask you?!?! How?!?!
 
No. Only the official 360 adapter can be hooked by USB. Any third party network adapter needs to be hooked up via the ethernet port.
