Using a mic with existing headphones

I really hate using the crappy desk mic so I'm looking for an alternative. Since I have a pair of Sennheiser HD-580s that I use for all of my PC sound I'd rather not sacrifice them for a headset unit.

Is there a headset mic that can clip onto a pair of headphones, or perhaps one that hangs around your neck?
