Using a dell recovery cd

I was curious as to if there are ways of using to a Dell recovery CD that re-installs windows on your Dell, to install Windows in another computer. Let's say I have a Dell, and a custom built computer with OEM hard drive. Is it possible to use the dell recovery CD to install operating system on the other computer? I know this is against the EULA, but I still was wondering if it is possible at all.

You probably just answered why you shouldn't do this... even if it were to work. I believe Dell recovery CDs read your BIOS for specific codes which indicate that it is a genuine Dell machine with Dell BIOS. Recovery discs are also generally encrypted to prevent extraction and cracking of the OS files.

Dell rocovery disks look for the Dell BIOS as stated above. I am sure there are ways around it, but why bother.
