Using a cmoybb with an wifi only ipad.....yes / no ?

Not sure if this works like with a dedicated mp3 player or is this a no-no with ipad ?
I remember reading that iphones + cmoybb produced alot of noise via the headphone jack,not a dock.

And yes I did google but nothing solid so figured I would try the best site on the web with the best members....:awe:

fwiw, my 3GS works fine with my Altoids beast via the headphone jack.

I bought a cheap $4 ebay dock connector to line out / usb. It works great. I get a LOT less hiss than I did when using the headphone jack.

Alternatively, get the Camera Connector Kit for USB and a USB DAC to hook up to your cmoy.

But then you'd just look like a dork carrying around yet another box to drive your headphones. 😀
