ASUS RT-N56U is supposed to work with 3G modems, and probably does, yet I haven't been able to get it to work with my 4G modem over the USB.

I've tried every standard listed under the "USB Modem" section, acting as Router & Access Point. I've tried connecting the modem to my PC, bridging it with the LAN connection to the router, and still nothing. The RT-N56U is Ralink based; therefore dd-wrt/etc seems out of question.

Any options?

It's not supposed to require a driver for linux, which should be what the router is running.

And yes I did for my PC.
