Using a 3 to 4 pin cpu fan adapter on kt7raid, help!

I try to use a 3 to 4 pin adapter on my kt7raid for my delta and all i get is beeps (guessing its a thing to warn that ur cpu fan isnt werking) any ideas how to disable this protection?

Easy, flashed the bios back to the UL version, it doesn't have the cpu protection on it. What not plug the delta in your motherboard, I think the KT7 is rated up to 6watts for each fan header.

Well my mobo died the other day and for precautions sake i got an adapter to rule that our as a cause. Unfortunatly i cant go back to ul because my cpu is a 1.2 gig

well there's a beta bios that has an option of turning off the fanheader warning.

if you can't disable it in bios then as a last alternative,you could always disconnect the speaker! not really recommended though.

hehe, i werk at a computer store so i dont have a problem getting new boards ;-) And no you cnat simply turn of hte speaks cuz the compute rkills in like 5 secs. Anyone know what bios releae4 haws the option to turn the cpu header warning off?
