I don't really get that at all. The 30" is .250mm and the 24" is .270mm. The most common 4:3 19" 1280x1024 panel that most Anandtech users probably have (e.g. 1905FP), has a .
294mm pitch, but nobody has ever complained about pixelation before...
If you want to pick on pixel pitch, how about me whining that there isn't a LCD with .22mm pitch so I can ditch my 21" F500R CRT.
