I have two of the fans mentioned in the title of this post TT FAN. This is the fan that gets hooked up to the HDD connection on the mobo that lights up different LED's when the HDD is active. Now is there anyway to hook both of them up to the mobo? I guess I would have to splice one of the fams into the other one and then use the one connector to the mobo. Will this pull too much power from the HDD connector? Will I permanently **** up my mobo?

You won't have a problem splicing them together. The fans don't run off the HDD light power anyway (at least they shouldn't). I would think you won't have a problem with your mobo. Try it and see. Whats the worst that could happen. New mobos are cheap (relatively speaking, I paid $242.00 for my IC7-MAX3). I have a spare DFI Lanparty PRO875 if yours blows!

Now isn't that reassuring for the guy:) But yeah, I don't think you'll have a problem with splicing them.

Hmmmm, did I read that correctly stevennoload? If I blow the mobo I get your DFI? Way COOOOLLLL!!! Just kiddding. The more I think of it, it really is only a sognal to turn the lihgt on or off. It gets the power from the molex. Thanks for getting back to me guys. I feel a little more comfortable, plus I know the DFI will look sweet in my Maze 3, TT Xaser III, black lighted rig. Actually, I liked to trade with ya now if at all possible :D I'm still building the rig and have both the Asus P4C800 Deluxe and the ABIT IS7, and can't decide which to use. It may nopt be an issue because I have NO idea where the ASUS noard went. I think someone stole it out of my car when I took it into work to show my Dad. I really hope that didn't happen.
