using 2 network cards?

I got an Orinoco RG wireless gateway hooked up to my Netgear RT314 router. My main pc is hooked up to the wired gateway and has a wireless card. Anyway of using the wired part for internet and the wireless for transfering files to my other pc on the wireless network? i want to use both cards simultaneously? When i have both cards in , it automatically uses the wireless.
