using 2 batteries in a t41

from what i understand it is bad to discharge a battery below 3%.... so how do u stop the second battery, in the ultrabay drive to save 3% and use the second battery (main one) to start drawing power? is there any way to arrange this because the ultrabay battery discharges to 0% any help would be appreciated, thanx

I just let it discharge to 0. It's not that big of a deal, and I'm more concerned with convenience.

Since I have an old main battery too, it would be useful for me to have such a feature too, since if the slim battery is at 0, I can't take out the main battery to swap with the other one without the machine trying to hibernate. At this point if I want to do that I just release the Ultrabay lever and let it sit like that (which may eventually lead to bending the lever).
