Uses for rice cooker other than rice + water?

Edit: But seriously, no. I would not want to get junk on the sides of the cooker.

take the uncooked rice and fry it up with garlic until it turns yellow. Now put the rice in your rice cooker and add half chicken broth, half water to it. It comes out really GOOD!

my family used to heat up bread with it. it works but i think it'd mess up the coating.

it's basically a hot plate. hell you can stick a piece of salmon or spam on it...

Add a little bit off oil to the rice and water.

My mother was just telling me about something along the lines of chopping up some veggies (I'm vegetarian) and adding rice, to the bowl of water in there, but hopefully, I'll try that tomorrow, and see how it goes. PM me tomorrow if you want to know.

I used to marinate chicken with salt, then cook it with rice for a quick meal. the chicken will be done at the same time with the rice, yummy.

there are a lot of things you can cook with rice.
