I don't think so.

This is one of the reasons why I hate fusetalk. It's so limited compared to vbulletin.

yes indeed. maybe it was cheaper for them, because vbulletin is way more user friendly and has alot more feauters. can this be put in in the new version of fusetalk?

Jason Clark, who works for AT, is the CTO of Fusetalk. That is why the AT forums use it.

1. It is a feature of FuseTalk, but it is disabled because it would create a lot of extra load on the forum
2. FuseTalk is a much better BB system than vBulletin, UBB, phpBB, etc...
3. The creators of FuseTalk WORK FOR ANANDTECH

Fusetalk, if given a smaller load than what AT has would probably be very extensive, ive never seen code, but the size of AT makes ANY software difficult for this w/o rediculous amounts of mods, or a large server backing it up

I'd imagine there's a lot more than 300 users on at once...there used to be a users browsing counter and back in the day it was always around a thousand IIRC

Fusetalk is a great forum system. I'm on plenty of message boards and always find AT the easiest to use/most productive.

Actually it's around 700 users at normal times, 800-900 at peak and 400 at low times.
A great number of people to support at once. Would take a fairly powerful server.

Still is a counter. You see it when you first log on.
