Username has special characters?

Um, I keep trying to update my signature in my profile, and everytime I try to update an error box appears anouncing that my username has special characters. Now, I haven't been here for long stretches, I'll admit, and I missed the big hullabaloo about the update, so I know that A.) My username may hav been carried over into a system that now doesn't support the space in it, and B.) If I try to make any change to my profile it'll just go back to default because of my username. Any suggestions/help?

What did you search for?

Search for "special characters" gets you: Can't update profile because of special characters in username.

and Can't update my profile due to special characters in my name...

and So, all I want to do is change my signature...

and cant change signature because there's a space in my name...

"username" gets several of the above as well as my first issue as a lifer.... i got 3 problems that need to be solved...

and User Name - Illegal Characters?

Thanks. And just adding "Username" to "special characters" gets you nothing in your search, that's why I found nothing, my apologies.

That's because you didn't add a boolean operator between your word.
