When going to our work website a box pops up and asks for username and password. I have an old username saved in there I'd like to get rid of but ..just can't figure out how. I even did a search in the registry for the username and came up blank. This is in XP home edition. No matter how I try and delete old usernames this one will not go away, it's always available as an option in the pull down box.

That is in the IE options, don't remember which one. Somewhere you can clean out saved info

Put your cursor over the old username to highlight it, then press Delete. That used to work.

EDIT: Bah, pop-up box. My mistake. =]

If it's IE can't you go to internet options and delete cookies, temporary files, and history.
