User switching issue

I recently changed my rig and found a problem I haven't faced before. Whenever user switching is employed (WinXP Pro) and the second user logs off, there is no video signal being recieved by the LCD monitor (Viewsonic VA712). The welcome screen doesn't shows up and I have to reset my system and start all over again for it to work. What is causing this?

BTW, I am using the latest Nvidia nForce and video drivers. See sig for rig details.
