All...quick question on profiles in Vista.

Recently my girlfriend moved in and i created her a profile. I need to remove all of my tech icons off of her desktop but keep them on mine. How do you accomplish that?

I tried to go under her profile and delete the icons but nothing show up.

Any ideas?

Thanks!!

You tried to delete them but they weren't there? So what is the problem then?

I'm going to pretend for a second I know what you're talking about, because you really aren't explaining anything clearly.

Anyway, open two explorer windows. In one, go to C:\Users\Public\Desktop
In the other, go to C:\Users\*your user name*\Desktop

Move (not copy) all the shortcuts in C:\Users\Public\Desktop to C:\Users\*your user name*\Desktop

Make sure you use the Virtual Reality tags for the icons on her desktop. If you want her to clean, click on the mop. If you want her to cook, click on the stove. If you are feeling horny, click on the bed! ;-)
