I am currently setting up a new in house domain to replace our old, outdated NT4 domain. The old domain was set up by a complete moron, so I just felt making a new domain on a new Win2k server was the way to go.

Now, I am testing migrating systems from one domain to the other. I am using my own laptop, running Windows XP Pro. Here are the facts -
1. My laptop is currently a member of the old domain (DomainA)
2. The new domain (DomainB) works properly, having been tested with other workstations.
3. I am an Admin of both domains.
4. I am currently logged in as the LOCAL administrator on my laptop.

Here is the problem. I right click My Computer, go to Properties, Advanced, Settings (under User Profiles). I am presented with a list of profiles, one of which is my DomainA\username profile. I should be able to select the profile, then be able to copy it to another profile (in this case, a local profile that acts as the place holder for the move to the new profile under DomainB). However, when I select the profile, the Copy To button greys out, no chance of using it.

I am hunted extensively on Google, MS, and other sites, looking for help. I was wondering if anyone here has been able to successfully pull this off.
